Kathy Meyer, LMSW

Reaching out to a therapist takes courage, and it’s a powerful first step toward finding hope and healing amidst life’s challenges. My greatest joy as a therapist—and as a fellow human—is walking alongside individuals as they discover that hope within themselves.

 

I bring many years of experience supporting people of all ages through anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and grief and loss. My approach is strength-based and trauma-informed, grounded in compassion, and tailored to each person’s unique journey. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including psychoeducation, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as DBT mindfulness and grounding techniques.

Together, we will explore what strategies, tools, and insights work best for you, helping you build resilience, clarity, and emotional well-being. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here to support you at every step as you move forward on your wellness journey. No matter how heavy life may feel, there is always hope—and together, we can help you find it.
