The No Surprises Act
Starting January 1, 2022 The Federal No Surprises Act was implemented to protect consumers from surprise medical bills after services have been rendered. These regulations protect those who have no insurance coverage, are using Out of Network Benefits, or are choosing to pay privately instead of utilizing their insurance coverage.
If this applies to you, you will be provided a statement that details your specific out of pocket costs for treatment, before treatment begins.
